How do I choose a pendant light?
Above a table, in an entrance or in the centre of the living room, a pendant light contributes as much to the lighting as it does to the style of the room. To compare models, start with the dimensions, the height available and the type of light you want. You can then refine your selection by material, colour and number of bulbs.
What size is right for my room?
Look at the diameter or width of the light, but also its overall height. Above a table, check how much space it will take up in relation to the tabletop; in a walkway, make sure you leave enough headroom. A cluster of several pendant lights can also work well above a large table or a kitchen island. Check the dimensions and drop length on each product page.
What kind of lighting do I want?
A shade that opens downwards directs light onto a specific area, while a diffuser can help spread the light more evenly. Check whether the model uses replaceable bulbs or an integrated LED, as well as the lamp base, the bulbs supplied and the light output information. If you want to dim the light, the fitting, the light source and the dimmer switch must all be compatible.

A model designed for a dry room is not necessarily suitable for a bathroom or for outdoor use: always check the intended use and the installation requirements.
