Glass dome and slotted chrome ring
The Whitby is made up of two parts. At the bottom, a slightly domed white opal glass closes the light. Above it sits a conical band in polished chrome-plated steel, pierced with a row of vertical slots reminiscent of a frieze. These openings let a fine line of light escape around the ceiling light when it is switched on, while the shiny metal reflects the rest towards the ceiling.
9 W GX53 LED lamp, IP44 protected
The light source is a 9 W GX53 LED lamp, supplied, giving 600 lm; it can be replaced the day it dims. The white glass diffuses the light without showing the lamp. With its IP44 rating, the ceiling light withstands water splashes and can be fitted on a bathroom ceiling, outside the area directly above the shower. A dimmer is possible with a dimmable GX53 lamp.
Slim format for low ceilings
At 12 cm high, the ceiling light fits comfortably under a 2.20 m ceiling. Its 39.2 cm width needs a clear surface; centre it in the room or above the basin area. It weighs 2.16 kg and screws directly to the ceiling, with an earth connection (Class I).
