About this light

The smallest Chawton picture light, here in dark bronze: an 18.2 cm shade for one E14 bulb, mounted on two arms with wing screws. Its brown tone blends into dark panelling or wallpaper, and it suits miniatures, small oil paintings and objects displayed on a console table.

Description

Dark bronze, faceted shade

The steel is finished in a dark bronze patina, a deep brown whose edges appear slightly lighter. The half-polygon shade, open underneath, houses the lampholder and shields the eye from glare. The moulded rectangular backplate carries two angled arms, locked by wing screws.

E14 lampholder and dimmer

It works with an E14 bulb of up to 40 W, bought separately. The brightness can be controlled with a dimmer if the bulb is compatible. IP20: for dry rooms only, away from water splashes.

Size and fixing

At 18.2 cm wide and 11.9 cm high, it stays in scale with a small frame; its projection is 18.6 cm and its weight 0.9 kg. Centre it above the object to be lit, a few centimetres away. Class I: an earthed circuit is required.
