About this light

Dark bronze picture wall light, two lights, 40.2 cm reflector: this is the mid-size model in the Chawton range. Its dark brown shade blends into a bookcase, a panelled study or a dark wall, leaving the painting centre stage. The manufacturer also offers it as a reading light above a bed.

Description

Dark brown, faceted reflector

The dark bronze finish covers the backplate, arms and reflector in a deep brown, with slightly lightened edges. The reflector takes the form of an elongated half-polygon, open at the bottom, which hides the bulbs from view. The arms, articulated by wing screws, let you raise the reflector or bring it closer to the canvas.

Two E14 light sources

Allow for two E14 bulbs of 40 W maximum, sold separately. LED and low-energy bulbs are suitable; they run cooler near an old varnish. The circuit accepts a dimmer, with bulbs marked as dimmable. IP20 rating: to be installed in a dry room.

Dimensions and installation

The wall light is 40.2 cm wide and 11.9 cm high. It projects 18.6 cm from the wall and weighs 1.26 kg. Fix it in line with the picture, just above the frame; as a reading light, place it above the headboard, on the side where you read. Class I, earth connection required.
