Warm, adjustable light

For a welcoming atmosphere, choose warm white light, around 2,700 to 3,000 K. A dimmer or several circuits let you switch from bright light for guests to a softer glow.

Match the size to the room

In a large living room, a generously sized pendant or chandelier structures the space; in a small one, choose a compact ceiling light and add wall lights.
