Shiny brass and white fabric
The support consists of a rectangular backplate and a flat U-shaped arm, both in brass-finish metal with a golden sheen. It carries a white fabric lampshade 25 cm wide, sitting like a small box of fabric. Beneath the backplate, a gold gooseneck ends in a drop-shaped reading head.
Read in bed without switching on the ceiling light
The lampshade takes an E27 60 W bulb according to the technical sheet and softens the light through the fabric. The reading light, fitted with a 3 W LED running on 12 V, lights the pages up close. Neither light is dimmable. For the lampshade, a warm white LED is more than enough for a bedroom. With its IP20 rating, the wall light is suited to a room protected from humidity.
Fitted on either side of the bed
At 40 cm high and projecting 20 cm, the wall light stays compact for a bedroom. Plan on two, one on each side of the bed, at a height that places the reading light level with your head when sitting up. The transparent cable is 200 cm long. The whole unit weighs just 0.73 kg, and its Class II rating means no earth connection is needed.
