Chrome backplate, fabric lampshade and gooseneck
The wall backplate and the U-shaped bent arm are made of shiny chrome-plated metal. The lampshade, a white fabric box set horizontally and open at the bottom, diffuses the light from the bulb. Beneath the backplate, a chrome flexible arm ending in a small LED head can be pointed towards your book or the edge of the bed.
Ambient light and a reading light
The lampshade takes an E27 cap bulb, rated at 60 W. The reading light runs on a 3 W LED powered at 12 V. The brightness is fixed, with no dimming, and a switch is fitted on the light. For the lampshade, choose a 2700 K E27 LED bulb, whose tone stays soft through the white fabric. IP20 rating: the wall light is intended for dry rooms only, such as a bedroom, living room or study.
Wall dimensions
The wall light measures 40 cm high by 25 cm wide and projects 20 cm from the wall. It weighs 0.73 kg. The transparent 200 cm cable runs down the wall. Class II: no earth wire to connect. Above a bedhead, position it so that the reading light sits slightly above shoulder height when you are sitting up.
