About this light

Antique brass picture light for a classic interior: its 36 cm cylinder houses two E14 bulbs and can be angled thanks to a ball joint. The golden bronze patina complements old frames, mouldings and wood panelling. A pull cord switches it on; the light, however, cannot be dimmed.

Description

Antique brass, curved arm

The metal has an antique brass finish, darker and more matt than polished brass. The domed, shield-shaped backplate extends into an arm that curves forwards. A ball joint at its end turns the tube to direct the light towards the canvas. The bulbs are concealed within the cylinder, as stated by the manufacturer.

Two E14 bulbs, pull-cord switch

Two E14 caps, each accepting 60 W at most, are waiting for bulbs, which must be purchased separately. The intensity is fixed, with no dimming possible. A 2700 K colour temperature flatters the brass and the ochre tones of an old painting. With its IP20 rating, it is suited to a living room, library or hallway.

Dimensions

36 cm wide, 13 cm high, 17 cm projection and 0.52 kg: the wall light is lightweight and compact. Centre it above an engraving or a portrait whose width is almost twice its own. The pull cord hangs below the backplate: keep it within easy reach.
