This black 2-light candle wall light, the Whiz brings the design of a drop chandelier to the wall. Two S-shaped arms extend from a chiselled backplate, each carrying a white candle in a scalloped cup, from which faceted black drops hang. At 36 cm high, it works nicely as a pair, on either side of a fireplace or a sideboard.

A classic candle wall light in black
The wall backplate is cut in diamond points, with a silver-coloured central cover. The two black arms curl upwards and end in cups with a cut-out edge. Each cup holds a white candle-style sleeve, ringed with silver-coloured metal. Beneath the cups hang black teardrop-shaped drops, cut with facets. On a light wall, the black clearly outlines the silhouette; on a dark wall, it is the white sleeves that stand out.
Two bare flames for atmosphere
Each arm takes one E14 bulb of up to 40 W; no bulbs are supplied with the wall light. Choose clear candle bulbs, as in the photo, to keep the candle effect. As the bulbs are exposed, the light radiates in all directions and provides accent lighting rather than task lighting. The IP20 rating restricts installation to dry rooms inside the home.
Size and installation
At 36 cm high and 30 cm from one arm to the other, it looks good above a console table or on either side of a mirror. Fix it at about 1.60 to 1.80 m from the floor so that the bulbs stay above eye level.
