Frosted glass dome on a brushed steel frame
The frame is a disc of brushed steel, matt and light grey, slightly wider than the glass, forming a collar against the ceiling. The curved frosted glass dome fits into it and three round-head screws, visible around the edge, hold it in place. The glass lets light through evenly and completely hides the bulb. The design stays discreet, in both period and modern interiors.
An E27 bulb up to 60 W
The E27 lampholder accepts up to 60 W; a warm white E27 LED of 8 to 10 W gives the equivalent output and stays cool under the glass. Rated IP44, the ceiling light withstands the steam and splashes of a bathroom; it can be fitted in the centre of the ceiling, away from the shower. Class I: connect the earth.
27.5 cm diameter, flush-mounted on the ceiling
With a diameter of 27.5 cm and a depth of 7.7 cm, it suits low ceilings and small rooms: shower room, WC, hallway. It weighs 1.04 kg and is fixed flat, with the cable coming through the centre of the frame. To change the bulb, simply remove the three screws around the edge to take off the glass.
