Opal panel and grey frame, all in acrylic
The diffuser is a square panel of opal acrylic, almost flat, which lights up across its whole surface. The grey frame, also in acrylic, surrounds it with a bevelled edge and soft corners; seen from below, it forms a thin margin around the white. The result looks like a light panel.
22 W G10Q lamp, IP21: to be fitted away from water zones
The light source is a 22 W G10Q cap lamp, the circular tube format, which produces an even light behind the panel. The IP21 rating only protects against vertically falling drops, not splashes. Sold for the bathroom, this ceiling light must be installed well away from the shower and bath, for example above the washbasin or in a room where the water points are set back from the centre; it also suits a kitchen or hallway.
33.5 cm wide, 8.5 cm deep
The square measures 33.5 cm per side and drops 8.5 cm, which leaves room for the tube behind the panel while remaining discreet under a low ceiling. At 0.8 kg, it needs only standard wall plugs. Placed in the centre of a room of 4 to 6 m², it provides the general lighting.
