A clear glass tube beneath a chrome base
The shape is that of a miniature workshop lantern: a cylindrical chrome-plated metal base, fixed flush to the ceiling, extended by a clear glass with a rounded bottom. The glass is not frosted, so the bulb remains visible and becomes the decorative feature of the light. The one in the photo, a filament model, is sold separately.
An E27 lampholder limited to 15 W, designed for LED
The E27 cap accepts standard bulbs, but the maximum power of 15 W points towards an LED: a 4 to 6 W filament bulb already provides enough light for a small space. With its IP44 rating, this ceiling light withstands steam and splashes, so it can be installed in a bathroom, outside the shower zone. Class I: make sure the supply includes an earth wire.
Dimensions and installation advice
The light drops 26 cm below the ceiling, with a diameter of only 10 cm, and weighs 0.75 kg: wall plugs suited to the surface are sufficient. Its small size lends itself to installation in a series, with two or three pieces lined up above a vanity unit or along a shower-room corridor.
