An opal globe on a chrome ceiling rose
The white glass ball, slightly wider than it is tall, is held by a chrome neck descending from a round ceiling rose; the stem is short, so the globe sits close to the ceiling. Switched off, it keeps a dense white; switched on, it lights up as a single block without revealing the bulb.
Up to 60 W, with the option to dim
The E27 lampholder takes 60 W at most: a 10 to 13 W LED is enough for an average bathroom, and the white glass softens its output. The bulb is not supplied with the light. It is rated as dimmable: with a dimmable LED bulb and a compatible wall dimmer, you can go from bright morning grooming light to a soft evening bathing glow. Its IP44 rating makes it suitable for the bathroom, outside the shower or bath zones. Class I, earth connection required.
Ceiling height and dimensions
The ceiling light drops 34 cm and measures 30 cm in width and depth; it weighs 2.25 kg, so fix it to a sound support or use an expanding plasterboard fixing in plaster. Centred in the room, a single light illuminates a family bathroom.
