An opal glass globe on a brushed steel base

The photo shows a round, slightly flattened diffuser in white opal glass, mounted on a cylindrical brushed steel base. No visible screws on the room side: the glass seems to float below the ceiling. The brushed base echoes the tone of stainless steel or nickel taps.

A G9 bulb, dimming possible

The Pippi takes a G9 cap bulb of 40 W maximum, to be purchased separately. The light is compatible with a dimmer: in that case, choose a G9 bulb stated as dimmable. Its IP44 rating protects it from water splashes, so it can light the bathroom from the ceiling, away from the shower head. Class II product, no earth connection.

Dimensions and ceiling installation

The globe measures 14 cm in diameter and 11 cm in total height, and weighs only 0.35 kg: it can be fixed with a simple wall plug, on a solid ceiling or plasterboard. In a medium-sized bathroom, allow two or three in a row for general lighting, or a single one above the washbasin to complement a wall light.
