Opal glass dome with chrome ring

The shape is that of an inverted dome: the curved, etched opal glass rests on a polished chrome-plated steel ring whose profile steps down, like the backplate of the Malibu wall light. A small chrome cap in the centre of the glass holds it in place and lets you remove it to change the bulbs.

Two E27, dimmer possible, bulbs to be purchased separately

The ceiling light takes two bulbs with an E27 cap, up to 60 W each; they are not included. For a bathroom, choose E27 LED bulbs of 8 to 10 W in 2700 K or 3000 K, and dimmable models if you connect it to a dimmer: the technical data sheet states variable intensity. The IP44 rating allows ceiling installation in a bathroom, away from the shower and the bath. Class I, earth connection required.

33.5 cm in diameter, 15.6 cm drop from the ceiling

The ceiling light measures 33.5 cm in diameter and projects 15.6 cm from the ceiling, which makes it suitable for a low ceiling. Fix the backplate to the ceiling using plugs suited to the material.
