A round shade encircled by a chrome frame

The Taylor is built around a wide, shallow round shade. The frosted, even opal glass is held by a band of polished chrome tubes that extends into small straight arms at the sides, like a frame. Three vertical rods rise to a round ceiling rose; a chrome knob finishes the underside.

900 lm of warm white LED, bulbs in the box

Three 3 W G9 LEDs, included, together deliver 900 lm at 3000 K. This output lights a medium-sized bathroom; for the mirror, add a wall light to illuminate the face from the front. Being IP44, the light fitting withstands humid air and splashes, but must not be installed above the shower tray. If using a dimmer, choose dimmable G9 bulbs.

41.6 cm in diameter, 29.1 cm in height

The shade measures 41.6 cm in diameter and the whole fitting drops 29.1 cm, weighing 2.88 kg to be hung from the ceiling: check the strength of the ceiling junction box. Allow a ceiling height of at least 2.40 m. Its size makes it a light for a main bathroom rather than a cloakroom.
