An opal glass drum under a chrome band
The opal glass forms a low cylinder, closed at the bottom, which lights up across its whole surface. Above it, a polished chrome-plated steel band holds it against the ceiling; two side screws and a small round cover in the centre of the glass remain visible, the only ornaments of the model. The chrome pairs well with taps in the same tone.

The GX53 5.7 W LED lamp is supplied with the ceiling light; it produces 600 lm at 3000 K, a warm white that suits a washroom without making it look yellow. The output is enough for a small bathroom, a WC or a hallway; in a large room, use two. Thanks to its IP44 rating, it can be installed in the bathroom, away from the shower head. The brightness is dimmable.

At 29 cm in diameter and 9.5 cm high, this model is the larger of the two Tamar sizes; it weighs 1.49 kg. It is fixed directly to the ceiling, with no rod or cable, which makes it ideal for rooms with limited height. It is also available in polished gold and in a smaller diameter.
