Opal glass drum encircled with chrome
The shape is that of an upturned bowl: a low opal glass cylinder whose flat base and sides both diffuse the light. A polished chrome ring, one or two fingers wide, holds the glass against the base and reflects the room around it. The discreet base is white and blends into the ceiling.
Two E27 bulbs of 60 W maximum, dimmer compatible
The two E27 lampholders take bulbs of up to 60 W, not included. Two E27 LED bulbs in 2700 K or 3000 K give a soft light that comes out from underneath and from the side of the drum, which also lights the ceiling. The light works with a dimmer if the bulbs are dimmable. Rated IP44, it withstands water splashes and can be fitted in the bathroom, away from the shower and bath zones; the manufacturer also recommends it for the kitchen.
A compact size of 23 cm by 9.5 cm
With a diameter of 23 cm, a height of 9.5 cm and a weight of 0.94 kg, it fits under a low ceiling without getting in the way. Choose it for a room of up to about 4 m²; for a larger bathroom, the same shape is available in a larger diameter.
