A small-square glass shade under a chrome rose
Fitted as a semi-flush light, this ceiling light leaves a short gap between the ceiling and the glass: the chrome rose sits flat against the ceiling, a small stem drops down to the fitting, and the pressed glass shade is secured to it with small side screws. The checkered pattern of the glass, the same as on the Dublin wall lights, diffuses the light and hides the bare bulb.
E27 bulb up to 40 W, not included
The E27 lampholder accepts a maximum of 40 W; the bulb is not supplied. An 8 to 10 W E27 LED, in 2700 or 3000 K, provides sufficient general lighting for a small bathroom. The ceiling light is Class I: make sure an earth conductor is available at the ceiling. Its IP44 rating allows it to be installed on the ceiling of a bathroom, but not directly above the shower.
18.2 cm in diameter, 2.03 kg on the ceiling
The glass measures 18.2 cm in diameter and the light hangs 20.5 cm below the ceiling: a compact size for a cloakroom or a WC. The whole fitting weighs 2.03 kg; the rose is fixed to a recessed box or to the ceiling with fixings suited to the material.
