The opal glass forms a low, closed cylinder that gives an even light without showing the bulbs. The only decorative feature is the matt black ring flush with the glass, which draws a crisp line against a white ceiling. The body is white lacquered mild steel on the ceiling side, and the whole fitting weighs just 1 kg.

Two E27 bulbs, you choose the light

The Cheese takes two bulbs with an E27 cap, maximum power 60 W each, not included. Choose two warm white LEDs for a soft light, or neutral white if you want a crisper light for the mirror; with dimmable bulbs, it works with a dimmer. Its IP44 rating makes it suitable for the bathroom, except within the shower zone.

23 cm in diameter, 9.5 cm high

At 23 cm in diameter and 9.5 cm high, it suits a WC, a small shower room or a hallway, and fits under low ceilings. It is fixed to the ceiling by its white plate, on a central cable outlet; in a larger room, two Cheese lights spaced apart work better than a single one in the centre.
