Matt black ring, clear glass window
The photo shows a black ring with a rounded profile, framing a flat clear glass; the inside of the spotlight stays white, so the lit bulb stands out clearly in the centre of the black circle. This contrast suits bathrooms with black taps and fittings or dark ceilings, where several spotlights in a row form a regular pattern.
A dimmable GU10 bulb, IP65 protection
The spotlight takes a GU10 bulb of 10 W at most, sold separately; it is stated as dimmer compatible, which requires a GU10 LED that is itself dimmable. Thanks to its IP65 rating, it withstands water jets and can be installed in the ceiling of a shower or above a bath, in compliance with the safety zones of the electrical regulations. The British retailer's listing states that it is fire-rated.
Installation in a false ceiling
The Burford measures 9 cm wide and 6 cm high and weighs 0.25 kg: it fits into most false ceiling voids. Class II, it is connected without an earth conductor. Line up several spotlights along the axis of the vanity unit for shadow-free lighting over the washstand.
