Polished nickel: between chrome and silver
Polished nickel is recognisable by its silvery tone, a little greyer and softer than chrome, without its bluish mirror effect. On a brass body the design stays the same: a moulded wall disc, a short angled arm ending in a ball, and a clear ribbed glass shade shaped like an inverted bell, with a wavy edge.
A 3 W G9 LED supplied, dimmer compatible
The G9 lampholder takes the supplied 3 W LED bulb: 300 lumens in 3000 K. The open corolla softens the light at the front and sends part of it back onto the wall and ceiling. The wall light can be controlled by a dimmer; as a replacement, choose a dimmable G9 LED of 3 W maximum. The wall light is IP44 protected: it can be installed on either side of a washbasin, but not in the shower. Class I, it must be connected to earth.
Dimensions and mounting height
Allow 22 cm in height, 14 cm in width and a projection of 16.5 cm from the wall, for a weight of 1.35 kg. Fix the backplate of each wall light at the same height, with the centre at about 1.60 m, so that the two glass shades light the face from the side without being reflected straight into the mirror.
