Aylesbury bathroom wall light in frosted glass and chrome, 24.5 cm

A block of frosted glass on a stepped chrome base

The diffuser is a square of frosted glass, slightly pyramidal, open at the top. It rests on a stepped base and a square wall plate, all in polished chrome. The flat faces and crisp edges give it an architectural look, without frills.

Soft upward light, IP44 protected

A G9 cap bulb of 40 W maximum sits behind the glass; it is included. The frosted finish hides the bright point of the bulb and gives an even light, the open top lighting the wall and ceiling. The IP44 rating protects the wall light against water splashes: it can be installed near the washbasin and in the bathroom in general, but not inside the shower or bath. Class I protection, must be earthed.

Dimensions and installation near the mirror

The wall light measures 24.5 cm high by 13.5 cm wide and projects 16 cm from the wall. It weighs 2 kg, which calls for a secure fixing in the wall. Install it on either side of the mirror, with the centre of the diffuser at eye level, for shadow-free lighting of the face.
