The tall tulip of the Carroll range
Compared with the Carroll1, only the glass changes: a smooth, clear tulip, narrowed at the neck then flared at the top, which rises higher than the ribbed corolla. The fluted stem, the spindle at the base, the hook arm and the round ringed backplate remain identical, in chrome-plated solid brass. The result is more vertical and more discreet, as the smooth glass plays less with reflections.
Mirror lighting, IP44 rating
A 3 W G9 LED lamp, the maximum for the lampholder, is supplied: 300 lumens at 3000 K, dimmer compatible. The clear glass lets all the light through without diffusing it: it is good grooming light, fairly crisp. The IP44 rating allows installation in a bathroom near the washbasin, outside the shower and bath areas. Protection Class I.
A tall wall light, to be mounted a little lower
At 34.5 cm high, 12 cm wide and with a projection of 22 cm, weighing 1.64 kg, the Carroll2 takes up more wall height. Fix the backplate so that the middle of the tulip is at eye level; the top of the glass will then rise about fifteen centimetres above it.
