Cheadle wall light in polished chrome, white opal glass bowl, 28.5 cm

Opal bowl and turned neck

The glass is shaped like a round-bottomed bowl, open at the top, in dense white opal: the bulb cannot be seen. It is held by a turned neck with stacked rings, itself carried by a hook arm that extends from a round backplate. The whole fitting is made of polished chrome-plated steel.

Subdued light for the mirror and the room

The G9 LED bulb supplied (3 W, the lampholder's maximum) gives 300 lumens at 3000 K. The opal glass turns the source into a diffuse, glare-free light, pleasant in the morning; it lights the face evenly and contributes to the lighting of the room. Dimmer compatible. With its IP44 rating, the wall light can be installed in the bathroom, near the basin, away from the shower and bath. Protection Class I, must be earthed.

Dimensions and installation

28.5 cm high, 17 cm wide, 21 cm projection, weighing 1.27 kg. The bowl is quite wide: leave enough space between two wall lights and the mirror so that they do not overlap, and place the rim of the glass at roughly eye level.
