A block of opal glass on a chrome plate
The photo shows a wall light with straight lines: a rectangular wall plate with moulded edges in polished chrome metal, a square stepped base, and above it a rectangular white opal glass diffuser that takes up almost the whole height. The glass is closed on top, which hides the bulb and gives a diffused light with no bright spot.
A soft light for the mirror area
The G9 lampholder takes a 3 W bulb, supplied with the wall light. The white glass spreads the light forwards and to the sides, which suits lighting the face in front of the mirror. The brightness can be varied with a dimmer. The IP44 rating protects the light from water splashes: it can be installed in the bathroom, around the basin and mirror, away from the shower. Class I: an earth wire connection is required.
Dimensions and fitting as a pair
The wall light measures 36.5 cm high and 12 cm wide, and projects 11 cm from the wall. Its narrow shape means it can be mounted as a pair on either side of a mirror, at eye level. Fix it with wall plugs suited to your wall type.
