Pleated glass on a round chrome support
The diffuser gives the Wallingford its character: white opal glass with tight pleats, shaped like a tulip that opens upwards. The support is pared back to the essentials: a round wall backplate, a short straight arm with a square section and a locking ring, all in polished chrome. Elstead offers the same collection as a double wall light and as a ceiling light, so you can dress the whole room with the same glass.
Light filtered upwards, IP44
Supplied with its G9 40 W bulb, the wall light shines towards the ceiling and through the pleats of the glass, which soften the light and avoid glare when facing the mirror. The IP44 rating allows installation in the bathroom, close to the basin, while staying out of reach of the shower jets. The light intensity is fixed.
Compact and light
The wall light measures 18 cm high and 11.5 cm wide, and projects 14 cm from the wall. At 1 kg, it can be fixed easily to a lightweight partition wall. Install one on each side of the mirror, centred at face height, or as a single wall light above a small cloakroom basin.
