Avignon chrome bathroom mirror wall light, 7.5 cm frosted square, 5 W LED

A square of light flush with the mirror

The light fits within a 7.5 cm square: a frosted glass face, white when lit, and behind it a chrome U-shaped bracket that straddles the top edge of the mirror. The total depth is 2.9 cm, so the wall light looks as if it rests on the mirror rather than being fixed to it. The frosted glass hides the diodes.

5 W integrated LED, fixed light

The LED is part of the light and is supplied with it; no bulb is needed. The 5 W lights the face from the front, at mirror height, which softens the shadows under the eyes compared with a ceiling light alone. The brightness cannot be varied. With its IP44 rating, the Avignon may be installed above a washbasin but not within the shower zone. Class III, white 50 cm power cable.

Fitted on the edge of the mirror

The bracket sits on the top edge of the mirror or bathroom cabinet, with the cable passing behind. At 0.34 kg, the wall light puts no strain on the mirror. One unit lights a narrow mirror; beyond 60 cm wide, it is better to fit two, positioned symmetrically.
