Zenit black bathroom wall light, white glass globe, 13.5 cm bracket

White glass and matt black sheet metal

Just two volumes: a black metal bracket, with wall plate and pierced shelf, and a satin white glass sphere that passes through the cut-out circle. The matt black absorbs the light while the globe reflects it, and the relief of the whole can be seen even when switched off. It pairs as well with black taps as with pale tiles.

An 18 W G9 under the globe

The G9 lampholder is concealed inside the ball; the manufacturer includes the 18 W bulb. The white glass turns this small cap into a soft, glare-free light, pleasant for shaving or applying make-up. Class I construction, with earth connection. The IP44 rating allows use in a bathroom, outside the shower area and away from the bath.

Compact size, 16.2 cm projection

On the wall, the light fits within a 13.5 cm square; the globe projects up to 16.2 cm. Lightweight (0.55 kg), it can be fitted as a pair on either side of the mirror, at about 1.60 m from the floor, or on its own above a narrow basin. The same wall light is also available in chrome and brass.
