Round backplate, short arm, cylindrical cup: the three metal parts are lacquered matt black and carry a clear glass shade with a rounded top. The glass is open at the lampholder, so the bulb is fully visible. With an amber filament bulb, the light turns golden; with a clear LED, it stays white and crisper.

15 W maximum, IP44, Class I

The E27 lampholder accepts no more than 15 W, so LED bulbs only, and no bulb is supplied. A 4 W filament LED gives a soft accent glow; go up to 6 or 8 W to properly light a vanity top. The IP44 rating protects against splashes from a washbasin and steam from a nearby shower, but the wall light must not be hit directly by the spray. The earth wire must be connected.

Wall space to allow for

The wall light projects 17 cm from the wall and measures 26.5 cm high by 10 cm wide; it weighs 0.8 kg. In a small space, check that the glass does not obstruct the opening of a cupboard door or a hinged mirror. If using a pair around a mirror, fit them at the same height.
