Polished gold finish on brass, faceted glass

The stem, the backplate and the ring holding the glass are in polished brass, a bright gold shade. The diffuser is a cone of clear glass cut into small diamonds: when lit, it casts a scatter of points of light; when off, it remains decorative. The design is inspired by an Olympic torch, according to the British retailer Netlighting.

LED source included, 300 lumens in warm white

A 3 W G9 LED is supplied and gives 300 lm at 3000 K. This output suits supplementary lighting, with two wall lights either side of a mirror, in addition to the ceiling light. It accepts a dimmer if the fitted G9 LED is dimmable. The IP44 rating allows installation in a bathroom away from direct water jets, and the light is Class I (earth connection).

A tall, narrow wall light

Allow 50.6 cm in height for only 12.6 cm in width: the torch takes up a narrow section of wall, between a mirror and a door for example. The projection is 20 cm; make sure you use wall plugs suited to your wall. Fix the backplate at about 1.60 m from the floor: the glass then sits above head height and the tip at around waist level.
