Malibu polished chrome wall light, opal glass drum on stepped backplate

Stepped backplate and small opal drum

The detail that counts is the backplate: its outline is stepped over several levels, and the polished chrome highlights every edge. The arm extends horizontally then rises in a T to carry a chrome cup, also stepped, on which the engraved opal glass drum rests. Elstead offers a matching ceiling light in the same range.

A 3 W G9 behind the engraved glass

The 3 W G9 bulb is supplied; a dimmer can be used with a dimmable G9. The opal glass is open at the top: some of the light rises to the ceiling, while the rest passes through the white glass and gently lights the wall. The IP44 rating protects against splashes; installation near the basin or mirror is suitable, but not in the shower. Class I luminaire, must be earthed.

A compact size of 21.6 cm

At 21.6 cm high, 12.9 cm wide and with a projection of 16 cm, this wall light fits on a narrow section of wall between two mirrors or on either side of a single mirror. It weighs only 1 kg, which makes fixing to a lightweight partition wall easier. Position the backplate at eye level so that the drum sits just above your line of sight.
