Opal tube and turned rings in polished chrome
The glass is a frosted cylinder, closed at the top by a chrome cap and seated at the bottom on a ring of the same metal, which is screwed onto a cylindrical base projecting from the arm. The square steel backplate, with moulded edges, picks up the polished chrome finish. Elstead also offers the Payne range as a double wall light, as a ceiling light and in an Ornate version with a turned arm.
A G9 bulb included behind the frosted glass
The 3 W G9 bulb is supplied with the wall light; it can be used with a dimmer if you fit a dimmable G9. The opal tube hides it completely and spreads the light along its full height, on both sides of the face if you place two wall lights around the mirror: this arrangement leaves the fewest shadows. IP44: suitable for the bathroom, away from the shower and the bath. Class I luminaire.
A slim format, 36.8 cm high
Height 36.8 cm, width 12.7 cm and projection 12.1 cm: the wall light fits on a narrow wall section. Fix the backplate so that the middle of the tube sits at eye level, about 1.60 m from the floor, and leave a few centimetres between the glass and the edge of the mirror.
