About this light

The Magna wall light is a slightly curved plate of frosted glass with a clear edge, held away from the wall by small metal brackets. The R7s bulb, included, sits behind the glass and gives a broad, soft light that washes the wall. At 35 cm long, it fits above a mirror, in the dry area of the bathroom given its IP20 rating, or in a hallway.

Description

A sandblasted glass plate on metal brackets

The glass, frosted in the centre and clear around its edge, curves forward. Two low brackets and two side rods hold it away from the wall, so the light also escapes above and below. The fixing is hidden behind the plate.

An R7s bulb included, indirect light

The lampholder takes an 80 W R7s tube, supplied with the wall light. You can later replace it with an LED R7s with the same cap to reduce energy consumption. The light, filtered by the frosted glass, has no harsh shadows, which is pleasant for applying make-up or shaving. With an IP20 rating, do not install it near the shower: above the mirror or on the wall opposite the bath are suitable.

Dimensions and fixing

The plate measures 35 cm long by 17 cm, with an overall depth of 7.5 cm. Mounted at about 1.80 m, it lights a mirror of the same width or slightly wider.
