About this light

The whiter-glass version of the Hook wall light: two opal cylinders, ringed in chrome at the base, flank a chrome wall plate. The light from the two E14 bulbs is well diffused, with no visible hot spot, which suits a position above a bathroom mirror. A pull cord hangs below the plate. IP44 rating, 37 cm wide, bulbs not included.

Description

Two opal cylinders and a chrome wall plate

On this model, the glass is white along the whole length of the tubes, with a chrome ring where it meets the support. The rectangular chrome wall plate stays discreet behind the two glass shades. The control cord hangs below it, finished with a metal tip.

Light from the two E14 bulbs and use in wet areas

The two E14 lampholders each accept a maximum of 40 W; no bulbs are supplied. The opal glass softens both clear and frosted bulbs. Suitable for the bathroom thanks to its IP44 rating, this wall light must be kept away from the shower and must not be installed above the bath. Its cord means you do not need to wire an additional switch.

Dimensions and installation advice

It measures 37 cm wide on the wall, 12 cm high, and projects 7 cm: enough to cover a single mirror or a small vanity unit. Fix it centred above the mirror, and leave the cord hanging free so that it stays easy to reach.
