About this light

Sparrow is a 45 cm opal glass tube held by a central bracket and two chrome-plated metal end caps. The 7 W LED inside gives 450 lm at 3000 K, a soft light suited to a small mirror or a hallway. Its IP21 rating protects it from vertically falling drops, not from splashes: keep it for the top of the mirror.

Description

An opal cylinder resting on a chrome bracket

The diffuser is a white opal glass tube, smooth with no visible joint, which diffuses light over 45 cm. It rests on a central chrome-plated metal support, about the size of a matchbox, and ends in two chrome caps. The whole fitting projects only 4.5 cm from the wall and is 7 cm high, tube included.

7 W LED, warm and measured light

The LED module is integrated and supplied: 7 W for 450 lm at 3000 K. It is accent lighting, sufficient above the mirror of a small bathroom or WC, to be supplemented by a ceiling light in a large room. The IP21 rating means the wall light tolerates condensation and vertical drops, but not jets or splashes: not above the bath, nor near the shower head.

Horizontal fixing at the top of the mirror

The central bracket screws onto the cable outlet and carries the tube. Fitted horizontally, the wall light crowns a mirror 40 to 50 cm wide. Allow a mounting height of about 1.80 m so that the tube stays above eye level.
