Ashland Bay outdoor wall lantern in weathered zinc and bubbled glass, 40.4 cm

A ship's lantern in zinc-effect aluminium

The body is made of aluminium coated in a weathered grey zinc finish, uneven like a metal that has lived outdoors. The clear glass cylinder is scattered with tiny bubbles that make the light source sparkle. The domed cap, vertical uprights and ring at the top recall deck lanterns. The supplier guarantees it for 3 years.

An exposed E27 bulb, to be chosen with care

The E27 lampholder accepts 60 W at most; no bulb is supplied. The light can be used with a dimmer, provided the bulb you choose is dimmable. Visible through the clear glass, it looks best as a warm-toned filament LED. IP44 protects it from rain: the lantern can be fitted on an exposed facade as well as under a canopy.

40.4 cm high, the size of a front door

At 40.4 cm high and 22.4 cm wide, with a projection of 24.4 cm, it is the largest of the three sizes; it weighs 3.15 kg and needs wall plugs suited to the surface. This size suits a porch or a gate; fitted at around 1.80 m above the ground, it lights the threshold without obstructing the way.
