Ashland Bay zinc and bubbled glass lantern wall light, medium 34.6 cm

Bubbled glass, ring and domed cap

Between the base and the domed cap, slim uprights frame a cylinder of clear glass blown with bubbles. The ring fixed on top recalls a lantern hung from a nail. The patinated zinc finish, a medium grey with lighter marks, covers an aluminium body; rain marks blend into the patina.

E27 up to 60 W, bulb not included

You will need an E27 bulb, not included, of 60 W maximum; an amber filament LED gives the look expected of a lantern. If dimmable, it can also be controlled from a dimmer. The clear glass diffuses nothing: expect marker lighting rather than task lighting. Rated IP44, it withstands driving rain on a façade wall.

34.6 cm high for a pathway or a garage

At 34.6 cm high, 19.3 cm wide and with a 21.3 cm projection, this medium model weighs 2.7 kg. It suits a garage wall, a pathway or a secondary entrance, where the large model would look too heavy. Mounted slightly above head height, it lights the ground without the bulb dazzling the eyes.
