Opal glass cone on a square chrome backplate
The wall backplate is a square of polished chrome-plated steel with sharp corners, edged with a bevelled frame. A horizontal arm with a square section carries a chrome ring in which the opal glass rests, an inverted cone, narrow at the base and wide at the opening. The light comes out through the top and passes through the white glass without glare.
A 3 W G9 LED, included and dimmable
The G9 lampholder takes a 3 W LED, included in the box, which provides 300 lm. The wall light is compatible with a dimmer, which is handy for soft light at bath time. Its IP44 rating makes the wall light suitable for the bathroom, away from the shower; it withstands the humidity and splashes of a washbasin. Class I, with earth conductor.
A 19.1 cm wall light to fit on its own or as a pair
It measures 19.1 cm high and 18.4 cm wide, and projects 15.9 cm; its 1.62 kg can be supported on a tiled wall with suitable wall plugs. Placed on either side of the mirror, with the backplate about 1.60 m from the floor, it lights the face from the front. The 3-light Avon version is placed above a wider mirror.
