About this light

This 40 cm bathroom wall light combines a half-cylinder white glass diffuser with two chrome end caps. A white pull cord hangs below the light so you can switch it on without searching for the switch. Two E14 lampholders light the mirror evenly; bulbs are not included, leaving you free to choose the colour temperature.

Description

A white glass half-cylinder closed with chrome

The diffuser is a white glass tube cut lengthwise and mounted flat against the wall. The two chrome end caps echo the same rounded profile. The profile is low: 9 cm high and projecting 7.3 cm, for a length of 40 cm. The white pull cord for the switch hangs down from the underside of the light.

Two E14 bulbs, dimmer compatible

The two E14 lampholders each accept a maximum of 40 W; with 4 to 6 W E14 LED bulbs, you get more than enough light for a mirror. The light can be used with a dimmer: in that case choose bulbs stated as dimmable. Bulbs are not included. The IP44 rating allows installation above the washbasin and mirror, away from the shower or bath. It is connected with an earth, Class I.

Above a mirror or a sink

At 40 cm, the wall light covers a mirror 50 to 60 cm wide without overhanging it. Fit it centred, about ten centimetres above the frame, with the cord hanging down. The manufacturer also offers it above a kitchen sink. It weighs only 1 kg.
