An etched glass inspired by drawer handles
The design starts from antique chest-of-drawers handles: beneath the glass, a small moulded ball serves as the knob, and the square mount echoes a drawer's rosette. The opal glass, acid-etched, is square in section and flares towards the top; it hides the light source and gives an even light. The rectangular backplate and the die-cast parts are finished in polished nickel.
Integrated LED, 3000 K, 320 lm, supplied
The light source is an integrated 3.5 W LED: no bulb to buy, it comes fitted. It emits 320 lm at 3000 K, a warm white that does not yellow your complexion in front of the mirror. Class I, the light must be connected to earth. Its IP44 rating allows it above a washbasin and near a bathtub; only the shower cubicle is off limits.
Compact and vertical: 20.5 cm high
At 20.5 cm high, 11.5 cm wide and with a projection of 13.7 cm, the Baldwin slips in between a mirror and a storage column. Allow one wall light on each side of the mirror, at about 1.60 m from the floor, or a single one above a mirror under 60 cm wide. It weighs 1.49 kg.
