Pressed glass, curved arm and small fixings
Designed by Hinkley, the Bennett sits on a round backplate in polished nickel. An S-shaped arm carries the lampholder, and the glass is held by small visible fixings, like on a lantern. The diffuser is a pressed glass shade: its prismatic grid breaks the light into a multitude of tiny sparkles and conceals the inside.
An integrated LED that plays with the relief of the glass
The 3.5 W LED module is integrated and supplied fitted: no bulb needed. It delivers 320 lm at 3000 K, enough to light a washbasin or to supplement a ceiling light. The light fitting is Class I, with an earth connection. IP44 rating: it withstands splashes and steam, provided it stays outside the shower.
22.5 cm high, 17.3 cm projection
The shade projects 17.3 cm from the wall, with a height of 22.5 cm and a width of 13 cm; the glass facing upwards sends some of the light back to the ceiling. Position the backplate between 1.60 and 1.70 m from the floor on either side of the mirror, or line up two or three above a long worktop. It weighs 1.49 kg.
