Polished nickel, a softer silver
Polished nickel can be recognised in the photo by its slightly veiled shine, somewhere between chrome and brushed silver. The brass body follows the candle-style shape of the collection: moulded oval backplate, slender stem ending in a point, glass-holder ring. The clear glass tulip shade is covered in vertical flutes and has a wavy rim.
Fluted glass and bulb included
The G9 lampholder accepts up to 3 W; the LED bulb supplied gives a warm white 3000 K light and 300 lm, an output suited to supplementary lighting on each side of the mirror. The flutes in the glass break the light up into reflections. On a dimmer, use a dimmable G9 LED. IP44 rating: the wall light is protected against splashes and can be installed in the bathroom near the washbasin, outside the shower. Class I, so an earth connection is required.
Dimensions and installation
33 cm high, 14 cm wide, 14 cm projection and 1.75 kg: a medium size, to be fitted at eye level or just above, as the open glass reveals the bulb. Install them as a pair, at the same height, for symmetrical lighting.
