Glossy French gold and white fabric
The round backplate and the ribbon of metal folded into a heart are finished in French gold, a light, polished gold that reflects the light. At the top of the heart, the lampholder carries a white fabric oval lampshade with a light interior: when switched on, it glows entirely and spreads a soft light throughout the room.
Soft light: two 3.5 W G9 LEDs
Two 3.5 W G9 LED lamps in 3000 K fit the wall light; the British retailer states that they are supplied and that downward LED lighting complements the lampshade. The light fitting is Class I and connects to an earthed supply.
Light and slim-profile, to be placed away from splashes
Rated IP20 in its technical data sheet, this Falmouth must not be exposed to water: in a bathroom, install it on the wall opposite the shower, above a cabinet for example; in a bedroom, on either side of the bed. It measures 42.4 cm high by 22 cm wide with a projection of 16.4 cm; its 0.77 kg needs only small wall plugs. At the bedside, allow for a backplate about 1.40 m from the floor, mounted as a pair.
