Satin natural brass and white glass

The steel spindle is given a natural brass finish here, a soft, low-sheen gold that shows fewer fingerprints than a mirror polish. The diffuser is a white opal glass drum, held between two rings in the same gold. On a white or dark green wall the metal stands out; on a beige wall it blends in.

Warm light for the mirror, IP44

The two 3 W G9 LEDs included produce 600 lm at 3000 K: a warm tone that suits brass and does not give the skin a greenish cast. The light is dimmer compatible. Protected against splashes (IP44), the wall light copes with the humidity and splashes around a basin; just avoid placing it in the shower or above the bath. An earth connection is required: the light is Class I.

55.9 cm high, 16.5 cm wide

At 55.9 cm high, 16.5 cm wide and with a projection of 9.8 cm, this small Mona weighs 1.44 kg and fixes easily to a plasterboard-block partition wall, using suitable wall plugs. A pair, one on each side of a standard-width mirror, gives symmetrical lighting for the face.
