An opal tube between two chrome end caps
The design comes down to three elements: a cylindrical white polycarbonate diffuser that softens the light along its whole length, two chrome-plated metal caps that close it, and a flat backplate, also chrome, slightly shorter than the tube. There is no glass, so no risk of breakage; the polycarbonate can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
Integrated 17 W LED, even strip of light
The light source is an integrated 17 W LED, supplied with the light and spread along the length of the tube: the light comes as a continuous band with no hot spot, which suits shaving and applying make-up. The luminous flux and colour temperature are not provided by the manufacturer. With IP44 protection, the wall light withstands humidity and splashes from the basin; just avoid the inside of the shower. Class I connection, with earth.
36 cm above the mirror
At 36 cm long, 6 cm wide and projecting 11 cm, the Poplar is placed in the centre above a medium-width mirror, or as a pair, vertically on each side of a narrower mirror. Align it with the top edge of the mirror so that the light falls on the face.
