Belvue bathroom wall light, ribbed glass globe, antique brass, 27 cm

A ribbed globe with an aged brass look

The rectangular wall plate, decorated with a raised frieze, carries a gooseneck arm in an antique brass finish, with a scroll supporting the curve from beneath. The globe is clear glass covered in fine vertical ribbing that blurs the view of the bulb and stretches the light into rays. The globe's fluted fitting echoes the aged tone of the metal.

E14 cap, pull cord and IP44 protection

The E14 lampholder accepts a maximum of 60 W, bulb not included: a filament LED in a warm tone of around 2700 K suits this clear glass well. It is switched on by the cord hanging below the wall plate; fixed light intensity. The IP44 rating allows installation in the bathroom, splashes included, but not inside the shower enclosure or above the bath. Class II.

27 cm high, 25 cm deep

The wall light measures 27 cm high by 16 cm wide and 25 cm deep: allow this space on each side of a mirror, with the centre of the globe at eye level. Used alone above a basin, it lights mainly downwards; as a pair, it frames the face without shadow.
