A ribbed glass shade, mounted upside down
The diffuser is the key feature: thick, clear glass moulded in steps like a utility pole insulator, with vertical ribs on the lower part. It is held from above, opening towards the floor, at the end of a chromed steel arm extending from a round backplate.
A visible G9 bulb, included
The G9 cap takes a 3 W LED bulb, included, which delivers 300 lm at 3000 K; the wall light is compatible with a dimmer. As the glass is clear, the light falls directly towards the basin and the ribs draw fine lines of light on the wall. To reduce glare, opt for a frosted G9 bulb. The light fitting is Class I and requires an earth connection. IP44: it withstands the steam and splashes around a vanity unit, but it must not be installed in the shower.
Compact, to be fitted as a pair on either side of the mirror
At 16.3 cm high, 12.7 cm wide and with a projection of 17.5 cm, the Talland takes up little wall space. Its downward-facing shade makes it suited to side mounting, at eye level, on each side of the mirror. The range also comes as spotlight bars with two, three and four shades for mounting above.
