The photo shows how it is built: a rectangular backplate, a short horizontal bar, and two gooseneck arms that each hold a shade by its top. The glass is clear, moulded in successive rings, ribbed at the bottom, and lets you see the cap and the bulb.

Each shade houses a 3 W G9 LED; both are supplied and give a total of 600 lm at 3000 K, and can be controlled with a dimmer. The light comes out through the lower opening and through the glass, with crisp reflections on the ribbing: a bright light for shaving or applying make-up; a frosted bulb reduces glare. The body is Class I and must be earthed. The IP44 rating makes it suitable for splashes from a washbasin, but not for the inside of a shower cubicle.
33.6 cm, above a small mirror
The wall light measures 33.6 cm wide and 16.3 cm high, and projects 17.5 cm. Placed above a 40 to 50 cm mirror, with the glass shades projecting slightly in front of the mirror, it lights the face from above. For a double vanity unit, we recommend the three- or four-light version.
