About this light

Semi-flush ceiling light in antique brass and glass from the Old Park range: a faceted clear glass lantern hung from a short stem beneath a round ceiling plate. The matt patina of the antique brass gives an aged look, suited to a period home, a hallway or a corridor. 32 cm in diameter, 23 cm overall height.

Description

Patinated solid brass and clear glass

The frame, made of steel and solid brass according to the manufacturer, holds angled panels of clear K9 glass, an optical-quality glass, that form a faceted shade, flared at the top and narrowing towards a pointed finial. The antique brass finish, more matt and darker than polished brass, highlights every edge without shining.

Two E27 bulbs visible through the glass

The central column carries two E27 lampholders, each rated for a maximum of 60 W. Bulbs are sold separately; as they are visible through the glass, warm white filament bulbs look particularly good. A dimmer can control the ceiling light if the bulbs are dimmable. IP20: dry rooms only.

Suited to low ceilings

The light hangs 23 cm below the ceiling, with a diameter of 32 cm and a weight of 2.64 kg. The semi-flush format leaves comfortable clearance in a hallway or corridor of standard height; check that the ceiling fixing can support this weight.
